CH CYGNI
     P. Garnavich and J. Goldader, University of Washington, provide
the following photometry (Johnson U, B, V and Smith r bandpasses) of
CH Cyg (cf. IAUC 4605), obtained with the 0.8-m telescope at the
Manastash Ridge Observatory: June 11.4 UT, V = 8.65, V-r = +2.86, B-V
= +1.53, U-B = +0.88; 13.4, 8.67, +2.83, +1.57, +0.85. The colors are
consistent with those of a standard M6 III star (Johnson 1966, Ann.
Rev. Astron. Ap. 4, 196): V-r = +2.80, B-V = +1.54, U-B = +0.89. From
1968 to 1984 flickering had been observed in this star with greatest
amplitude 15 percent in U. The present results, obtained over a
period of five hours on each night, show the star to be of constant
brightness in all bands to 3 percent.
