Bode, Lancashire Polytechnic; and J. Meaburn, University of Manchester, report: "High-dispersion (0.165 nm/mm at 500.7 nm, and 0.220 nm/mm at H-alpha) spectra of this symbiotic star using the Manchester Echelle spectrograph on the 2.5-m Isaac Newton Telescope on La Palma show that both H-alpha and [O III] 500.7-nm emission lines were absent on Sept. 20.93 UT. A low-dispersion (7.9 nm/mm) spectrum covering 460-670 nm obtained with the same instrument on Sept. 25.88 confirmed that all nebular lines are now missing, leaving only the red giant continuum. Previous high-resolution spectra taken with the same telescope/instrument combination on 1986 June 28.92 had shown double-peaked H-alpha and multiple-component [O III] emission lines to be much stronger than any continuum. Observations on 1987 July 7.01 and 1988 June 30.03 showed [O III] to be absent, and the double-peaked H-alpha line weak relative to the continuum. This work is part of a spectroscopic survey and monitoring programme of symbiotic stars being conducted from La Palma and from ESO, La Silla." 1985 DO2 Ephemeris extension (cf.
