Lipari, Space Telescope Science Institute, reports: "I have discovered a new extreme Fe II emission quasistellar object (QSO) during a search at CASLEO Observatory, San Juan, for new southern warm IRAS active galactic nuclei. The optical spectrum of this object is dominated by extremely strong Fe II emission and also by the H II, He I, and [O III] lines, which are swamped by the Fe II multiplets. There are only two other quasars in the literature with comparable 'superstrong' Fe II emission: PHL 1092 (Bergeron and Kunth 1980, A.Ap. 85, L11) and IRAS 07598+6508 (Lawrence et al. 1989, M.N.R.A.S. 235, 261). The two IRAS quasars 07598+6508 and 18508-7815 show a remarkable similarity in their optical spectral and far-infrared characteristics (they also have similar redshift). IRAS 18508-7815 gives further support to the suggestion by Lawrence et al. on the existence of a small class of superstrong Fe II emitters." 1990 SM Observations by D. J.
