Savage, Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, reports her measurement of the position of the supernova on a U. K. Schmidt plate as: R.A. = 21h59m58s32, Decl. = -21deg02'23"7 (equinox 1950.0). Tatum's object was not visible on this short exposure, but it does appear on other Schmidt plates taken during the past ten years; on the other hand, nothing appears at the position of the supernova on the earlier plates.
